For seniors
Clubs, classes and programs that say — in their own words, on their own sites — that they're for older adults. Each listing shows the age line as that place states it, because the city can't agree on a number: 55+ at the Brooklyn library, 60+ at most centers, 62+ at Parks, 65+ at MoMA.
No tag here is our judgment. If a place doesn't appear, that means we don't hold a fact about it — not that seniors aren't welcome.

Older-adult centers, an umbrella that lists them, and the network whose volunteers visit older neighbors. Each row carries the age line its own site publishes.

Library services and talks with an age line on their own page. The Brooklyn library's is 55 and over, which is the youngest threshold anywhere on this page — one more reason we never round these to a single number.

Museum and Parks programs
Two more run inside larger institutions rather than as clubs of their own: the Museum of Modern Art holds gallery hours for visitors 65 and over, and Parks runs recreation sessions for ages 62 or older at its centers. We hold no listing for either yet — they attach to a program rather than to an organization, and we would rather send you to their own pages than file them somewhere they don't belong.
Every entry here is checked by hand — oldest check .
Free means free as posted. Something wrong — a program gone, an age line changed? hello@recs.nyc
